The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is increasing the random drug testing rate for 2020. The new minimum random controlled substances testing rate for commercial driver’s license holders is 50% starting on Jan. 1. This is double the 25% rate, which has been in effect for the past three years.
根据12月26日在联邦公报上发表的计划变更通知，决定提高CMV驾驶员的DOT随机测试率的决定是基于2018 FMCSA药物和酒精测试调查的结果。根据代理政策，如果任何给定年份的随机积极率等于或大于1.0％，则下一个日历年的利率将翻倍。2018年的随机阳性率为1.0％。
